Norma Cogar Memorial Wildlife Center is an Ohio registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Federal tax ID number 87-3986744. Donations to our organization are governed under IRS code 26 U.S. Code § 170. Your donations of items, money, stocks, bonds, trusts, and physical property are tax deductible under this code.
Information Request Policy
Norma Cogar Memorial Wildlife Center is Happy To Share Required Information
We are happy to share information that is required to be made available to the public. Due to the time it takes to process these requests, we must ask that all requests for information under this regulation be made with at least 30 days notice of when you need the information by.
Some states within our operating area do not require non-profit organizations to report their activities to that state. We report activities as required by the states that do have laws requiring these reports. We will make this information available upon request.
We will do our best to get the information to you sooner than the 30 day period.

Volunteer Opportunities
All volunteer opportunities are posted to the public on our website and social media pages. Some opportunities may require physical labor and use of power tools and other equipment. Others may require interacting with wildlife, including animals considered dangerous.
We will do our best to ensure that this information is posted on each opportunity. Please note that there is an inherent risk when working with these tools or animals. For information on these risks, please contact our Animal Care Director by clicking on the button below.
Status and Tax Records
We were declared a 501(c)3 as of October 30, 2024. Our first requests for donations began on December 26, 2024.
All documents below are for the period after this determination. This information is available publicly through the individual government regulatory websites, but our transparency policy is to post these publicly for easy access.
