Our organization offers comprehensive wildlife education programs that aim to foster a deeper understanding of local ecosystems. We believe that educating the community about native species is vital for conservation efforts and sustainable practices. Join us to learn how you can make a positive impact on wildlife preservation.

At Norma Cogar Memorial Wildlife Center, we are committed to protecting native wildlife through innovative research and community education programs. Our goal is to foster a deeper understanding of local ecosystems and promote sustainable practices that benefit both animals and humans.

Our Wildlife Education Center will provide a home for wildlife that has gone through rehabilitation and can not be released in the wild. This center will care for them while giving you a glimpse into the beauty and importance of these animals.

Help us by donating to our general operation fund or the Education Center Fund! These funds will help us continue to help wildlife and make a difference for our community!

Original release in 2015.
This cooper's hawk had gotten itself caught inside the enclosed porch you see early in the video. She was checked prior to this video and was unharmed. The blanket came into play as this was an off hours emergency call, instead of our normal equipment to protect the birds as well as ourselves from injury. Birds don't always like to work with us, but it is important that we make sure they are ok and can get back to their normal routine!
