I am the founder behind this amazing experience! I try to be down to earth and active within our community. If you call or email us, you just may get to speak with me without even asking! I love being available to help our friends in conservation!
The lovely lady in this photo is my amazing wife and the Chief Operating Officer for NCMWS, Brittany.
Not a what, but who. It is cliche to say it for anyone my age, but the late Steve Irwin was a huge part of my desire to do something. He made sure to get all of his followers to watch and learn with him. He made a difference in this world and I don't want to see it go to waste!
Another person was my grandmother, Norma Cogar. She loved her family and gave me her blessing when I told her I wanted to help animals. She always had faith in me. What better way to honor her than to name this group after her?!
I am a member of the Zoological Association of America (ZAA), The National and Cincinnati Chapter of the Audubon Society, The National Wildlife Control Operators Association (I am a certified wildlife control operator. It helps to learn how to better control non native species and help resuce native animals). I am also a member of the Ohio State Trappers Association (again, great group of people dedicated to responsible stewardship of the wildlife we live around), and am also a Bat Conservation International approved operator.
We are also a part of the list of organizations that are reccomended by the Cincinnati Zoo!
For a little fun, I am a member of the American Battlefield Trust (ABT). I love history and wildlife!
This is an oldie but a good day doing what I love. We had just rescued this Cooper's Hawk from a screened in porch and after checking for injuries, we let this baby free!
We had to improvise and use a blanket. Our friend did not want to cooperate with me at all either! I have learned so much since this event. Our whole team has, and we are greatful for the experience!
At the time we didn't have a Social Media team, so this is on my personal account!
